Biopharmachem Ireland is the leading representative body for the biopharma and chemical sector in Ireland. Our member company's research, develop and manufacture biopharmaceutical products, ingredients and general chemical material.

With the support of industry, Ireland will position itself as a centre of excellence for innovation and development in biopharmaceutical and chemical supply, thereby becoming the location of choice for the launch of new products.
Biopharmachem Ireland will lead the sector towards achieving its vision by bringing together all relevant stakeholders in the State, namely industry, government, research community and the public at large to effectively communicate the unique attractiveness of this country as a leading location for the supply and development of biopharmaceutical and chemical products.

Biopharmachem Ireland is committed to providing an environment that is conducive to the continued success of the Irish pharmaceutical and chemical sectors. We achieve this through representation to central government, local authorities, and relevant state agencies.
Our working groups tackle issues of particular concern to the industry. Participation in the association and working groups enables you to network and build relationships with your colleagues from other companies and discuss issues of common concerns in the industry. The specific work of each group is restricted for member use only.
As a member, you gain valuable information and resources to ensure that you are better informed on critical business issues. These resources cover areas such as health & safety, environment, quality, OPEX, RDI economic policy, education and human resources.
BPCI has significant access to contacts in the European institutions, public servants and officials of the relevant state bodies. This allows BPCI to monitor and interpret relevant EU legislation and/ or initiatives and formulate specific lobby responses. BPCI are members of the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC).
