Policy Committees

It is through the work of our policy committees that we agree Ibec's policy priorities and our work programmes. Ibec has 13 policy committees which are chaired and populated by members. This is one of the key channels through which we connect with our membership to devise policy and a lobbying strategy to address the challenges and issues facing business and employers.

Ibec's policy team also represents Irish business and employers on a numerous government working groups, committees and boards. This structured engagement with government is core to our work.

Ibec's own policy committees are supported by our 25-strong policy team and Brussels based office which work full-time on the issues directly affecting our members both individually and collectively.
