Managing contractors in the workplace
There is a growing trend in business to outsource key support roles in their businesses. These include but are not limited to Reception and Security, Canteen services, Cleaning services, Facilities (including electrical, mechanical and plumbing), IT services, payroll services etc. These contractors are based in the company and work alongside employees. This can present challenges from a health and safety perspective. The theme of this webinar is to provide guidance on how to manage these contractors to meet the requirements of the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act and follow best practice.
