Midlands
The key driver of the Ibec regional business agenda is the Regional Executive Committee (REC) in the Midlands.
The committee meets a number of times throughout the year to discuss national, regional and local issues of importance to the business community and to input into Ibec’s policy formation.
This region comprises of the counties of Laois, Offaly, Longford and Westmeath.
The main areas that the Regional Executive Committee focus on include cost competitiveness, infrastructure and skills.
